Easy Lunches

A few nights ago I ordered Karlyn a new lunch box set and it was delivered to the house yesterday!  I had read a lot of good reviews so I decided to go for it.  I remember my mom always packing my dad's lunch the night before and she would use a clear tupperware type plate that was divided into sections.  I was beginning to think they didn't make anything like this anymore and constantly digging for separate containers for breakfasts, lunch, and snacks was getting old.

Enter...EASY LUNCH BOXES!  You can read more here: www.easylunchboxes.com

A mom designed this system.  Go figure!  You get four of the lunch box containers and then you can choose to buy a cooler to carry them in.  Guess what?  3 of these babies fit inside the bag!  Anyhoo, the coolers come in several different colors and the containers and lids are obviously mix and match.  They're made so that a child can easily take the lid off so I wouldn't call it an air-tight seal.  On her site, she mentions several times that the containers are not leak proof.

The cooler is nice because the lunch boxes stay upright and everything stays in place.  This morning I sent Karlyn with 2 of the boxes plus her sippy cup inside and a few snacks.  I took two to work also and then decided I really need a cooler too.  So I ordered mine in purple. :)  I bought mine off Amazon because you can get free shipping!

I'm having a bit too much fun with these~

I ordered another set of boxes too with my cooler so that I don't have to wash them every night.  This is great because it makes is to easy to throw in fruits and veggies as side dishes.  There's no excuse!

And now I'll end my infomercial.

So this week has been so...uh...heavy.  Or something.  Drama.  Meetings.  Changes.

Just when I thought I was getting settled and catching on.  After 4.5 years, I'm finally moving desks!  I haven't decided if this is a good thing or not but it is what it is and I'll make the best of it.  Maybe I'll even like it. :>  I feel so unqualified at times.  It's hard to be pulled in different directions and multi-task but that's kind-of the job.  Seriously though.  Friday needs to get here.

There are so many babies on their way!  It's crazy.  Some friends of ours are even having TWINS!  Super crazy.  They are totally going to be adorable - I already know.

I read chapter 1 of The Hunger Games last night.  Yikes!   Can't wait to see what everyone's been raving about.

p.s. I may or may not have consumed an entire small Chic-fil-a banana pudding milkshake today.  Oh. my. gosh.
