Hair Pics and a Trip to Tar-jay

Today was so gloomy!  Ryan's mom had offered to keep Karlyn this afternoon and I knew Ryan was working late so I thought a trip to Target was in order.  Can you really walk in that store and NOT have it brighten your day??  I say no.  Plus, I did need to pick up anything that caught my eye a few things.  It was so nice to roam the store for over an hour with no baby!

I've been wanting to experiment with some new eye shadow colors.  And...can someone please come over to my house and teach me how to do it correctly?  I mean yeah, I know the basics but I want to learn how to do fancy-smchancy eye shadow.  Please???!  I'll pay you!  I didn't want to spend a ton of money on it today so I spotted this e.l.f. brand in the make-up section.  8 colors for $2.00?!  I'll take 'em!  I can't wait to play with them.  :-)

So.  If you know me very well, you know I like change.  I get bored.  I don't like to get or stay in ruts and I enjoy mixing it up, whatever IT happens to be.  I've had so many different hair styles/colors over the past few years that I'm sure my poor husband's lost count.  I've done highlights.  Lowlights.  Short hair. Long-ish hair.  (The longest it's ever been was for my wedding.)  Of course we get back from our honeymoon and what do I do?  Chop it off.  Why, why, why?!  But seriously.  I think I look better with shorter hair.  I have a long face and when my hair gets longer it kinda drags my face down with it.  Ryan actually prefers it shorter but I've always wanted to have long hair.  It takes so stinking long to grow it out though!

I saw this cut on Pinterest.  What do you think?

She probably has a much shorter face than I do though!?  Yeah?  I like it.  I really do.  I'm just scared to make that plunge especially when I've been so desperately trying to grow it out.  Also, almost two years ago, I had the worst hair-cut of my LIFE and even though another girl was able to salvage it a bit, it reminds me of the pic below.  I think my current hairdresser could do a much better job and I think the pic above looks more razored on the sides than this one.

I had just found out that morning that we were having a GIRL!!!  =)

Anyhoo.  What do you think?  I know people have no real vested interest in my hair length so I'm just looking for opinions.  Here's about where it is now.  Crop?!  Or keep growing?

I vote keep growing! It's so stinking hard to keep at it (I've been working on mine for 2 years!!) but it will be worth it =)

Oh! And I second the Target comment, it's better than therapy ;-)

I think the short hair is super cute! But, for me, I never can stay committed to styling short hair, so always want to grow it back out after about a week!
