Let's Talk About It

Let's talk about the fact that my husband is home!  Woo hoo!!  We spent a long, slow afternoon at the hospital waiting for them to finally release him and now he's asleep in our bed.  Yay :-)  Thank you SO MUCH for your thoughts and prayers this week.  We would not have made it without them.

Let's talk about how super incredibly thrilled I was today to finally get a hair cut.  I'm trying to grow my hair out so I had gone almost 12 weeks since my last cut.  It was shaggy/frizzy and it looks so much better now.  And I kind of got new bangs!  I can wear them more straight down now or sort of parted in the middle and off to both sides and I like them :>

Let's talk about these amazing non-Paleo MIND BLOWINGLY DELICIOUS cookie dough brownies my friend Andrea brought over on Thursday.  But let's not talk about how many I've eaten.  Ok, ok.  3 1/2.  Seriously, they are awesome and she was so sweet to make them for us.  I mean me. ;)

Let's talk about how sad it is that I'm planning to go to my 10 year high school reunion tomorrow night, alone.  Ryan was of course planning on going with me before all of this happened but...and lest you think I'm totally abandoning him in his time of need, he's given me his blessing to go and his parents will take good care of him for a few hours.  Let's also discuss how I have nothing I'd like to wear and how I plan to look for something tomorrow.  Pressure shopping.  Oh what fun.

Let's talk about how my almost 11 month old daughter is starting to walk more and more!  It is crazy.  And when did she get so old anyways?  And who pray tell is planning her 1st birthday party?  Whoever it is needs to get on the stick and get some invitations out.

Let's talk about how I haven't worked out now since November 2nd and how I've probably lost any momentum and muscle gains I was in the processs of creating.  Back to the drawing board.  Hopefully this next week!  Also on that note, let's talk about how I haven't been eating Paleo and feel kind of yucky because of it.  Also, I am now in love with Gingerale.  Thanks stomach bug.

Lastly, lets talk about this baked potato soup I whipped up tonight for Ryan for his first meal back home.  What did we do before the internet?!  A couple of quick searches and I had a recipe to go by that was awesome.  Thank you Google.  Now come up with an outfit for me tomorrow.  Ready....go!
