What a very pretty hat!

What movie is that from?

.......................................

Ah, today was nice.  Maybe it was because it was the first day this week that I showered before 7:00 pm and actually flat ironed my hair and put on make-up.  Karlyn and I headed to my final discharge appointment with Dr. H down at Baylor.  It was bittersweet!  I love that lady, and I think I made her cry.  :)

I told her how much I appreciated her being there with us during such a huge life event...I thanked her for never making us feel dumb and never rushing us, always taking time to listen and answer our questions.  I jokingly told her that I wished I could just call to talk to her sometimes!  ha ha.  She said, "Just come on up here whenever!"  I will see her in June and I know that for baby #2 I will definitely want to use her again.

Speaking of baby #2.  No, we're not expecting.  Sheesh.  But I thought it was funny.  I got an e-mail from Thebump.com with this title:

"TTC Baby #2?  What you need to know."

Um....not yet bump.com.  My baby is only 8 weeks old!  And in honor of the chubster's 8th week of life on this earth, we did a photo shoot this morning.  Not just any photo shoot though...we tried on each and every one of her HATS!  It was hilarious.

Here ya go:

I know.  I kind of went nuts.  I don't care though.  She's my little girl!  And she'll only be 8 weeks once.

I said I wouldn't be "that mom" that drove everyone crazy with too many baby pics, and too many baby facebook statuses.  Woops.

I don't care though.  I promise it won't last forever :)  I won't be giving you "37 week" updates on my blog...I'll slow down at some point, and will post a picture here and there...but for now, I'm eating it up.  Do you know how long I prayed for this chica?  A long time!  She has too many funny faces and too many cute outfits to not snap pictures every day.

She has also STILL been sleeping well!  The night before last she made it almost 9 HOURS, from 9:00 - 5:45.  I couldn't believe it!  Last night she went 9:00 - 4:00, and then 4:30 - 7:00.  I think I should have just let her cry a bit at 4:00 though because she was not interested in eating and fell right back asleep.  Can't wait to see how she does tonight!

In other news, I have been majorly hungry.  And being home has given me 24 hour access to the kitchen.  Not good.  Or is it?  I feel like I could just eat all day!  I'm chalking it up to the fact that I am still nursing her AND I've been working out.  I'm doing The Biggest Loser's Last Chance Workout DVD with Jillian.  I really like it and it's a good workout!  It takes about 30 minutes and man have I been sore from it.  I love that because it tells me it's working.  I have also seen a difference in my arms and shoulders, which is where I wanted to improve anyways.

We have been eating dinner around 7:00 or so when Ryan gets home but yesterday I ate at like 5:00 or 5:30 because I wanted to be full!  I had been snacking...and finally sat down to this:

[caption id="attachment_1907" align="alignnone" width="300" caption="MMMmmm"][/caption]

It was good.  I've also been having a strong hankering to bake something sinfully delicious.  Like a rich chocolate cake, some fudge brownies, maybe these?

Tomorrow's Friday!  Got any weekend plans?  Valentine's Day AND Ryan's birthday are both coming up so this chick needs to get on the gift-buying/making stick.  Yeah.  Probably buying.

Thursday night TV!  Woo hoo!

Ha! I got that same email...I was like "Say whaaaaaaat?" No thank you - like Tina said, it frightens me to think of that happening before baby #1 is a little older.

The hat pictures are adoooooorable!! And that's so great that you have such a wonderful relationship with your doc. That last appointment is so bittersweet, isn't it? It's like closing that chapter until the uh...next baby. Ha...
