Sick-y

The past 30 hours for me have gone like this:

Wake up Saturday morning with a severly stopped up nose.  I know, gross.

Start cleaning the house and have a violent sneeze attack every 3 minutes.

Start to feel crummy.

Take 1 Benedryl and doze on and off in our bedroom while Ryan mows the yard.

Send Ryan to Walgreens for Sudafed and Emergen-C (he had no idea what Emergen-C was though and of course wasn't going to ask - but my hero found it in the end)

Downed the Emergen-C and some Sudafed and tried to rest more.

Determined I was going to go to our friend's wedding I had been looking forward to.  Showered and make myself look better than I felt.

Went to the reception, took more Sudafed.  Felt ok till for a bit but then started to feel even worse than before we got there.  Determined to have CAKE.  Couldn't make it.  Really bummed about no cake.

Took 2 Benedryl and went to bed.  Slept on and off, waking up at intervals feeling miserable, wanting to curl up in the fetal position but couldn't.  Bellly was in the way.

Got up this morning, drank an Emergen-C, and ate some strawberries.  Showered to feel alive.  Did some laundry...Texted Ryan to bring me home chicken noodle soup and lemons.  He bought our groceries by himself, for the 2nd week in a row.  What a guy :>

Ate soup.  Held my face over it to steal some steam.  Drank lemon water.  Watched the 1st half of the Broncos.  Had a great nap through most of the 2nd half.  Got up for another Emergen-C.  Broncos win!  My husband is happy.

I'm actually feeling a bit better...(crossing fingers)  I really don't have work time to use for being sick- trying to sock it all away for December if I need it.

*I'm 28 weeks along today!*  12-ish more weeks.  I'm hoping for less.  Tomorrrow I have my glucose test at the doctors in the morning...Ryan's going with me.  I really hope it goes well and that I can get the drink down and everything.  And that I don't have diabetes.  Hopefully whatever I caught is on its way out the door and I can sleep better tonight.  I'm allowed to have eggs and plain wheat toast before my test tomorrow.  Sounds good to me!

Hope you're all staying well :)

:( I'm so sorry. Rest up and take care of yourself. Good luck with the glucose test tomorrow. It's not too bad, but I did feel a little nauseous after drinking the sugar drink. Even though you won't feel like eating anything, you should probably and eat a little something (crackers or something) after they draw your blood to help yourself feel better.
