Happy Sunday folks.
It's 3:51 and I've already had my nap :) I decided to forgo a full lunch when we got home from church and head right to sleep. But not before a few pics! We didn't take any last Sunday but I decided to do it today. It only takes a few seconds and I know I'll be glad to have these later! I'm 14 weeks today!!
I'm getting anxious to a) feel this little bugger move and b) find out if it's a boy or a girl! 6.5 more weeks!
I had a yummy lunch after my nap today. Who loves pimento cheese?! My mom used to make us sandwiches spread with this delectable creation as kids so today when Ryan said, "should we get some pimento cheese?" I said, "sure!"
LUNCH:
Pimento cheese, turkey, and spinach on a whole wheat bagel thin. Zucchini rounds/green bell pepper strips with roasted red pepper hummus, and some Stacy's parmesan pita chips. ! Mmm. :)
Lately I'm also a big fan of:
yogurt with strawberries. cinnamon raisin english muffins with pb or strawberry cream cheese. sharp cheddar kettle chips. peanut butter and banana sandwiches. sliced turkey. anything cheesy/meaty for lunches and dinners. I think I've gained about 4-5 pounds so far. Fine by me!
Ryan and I have been staying busy with work and our normal weekend chores around the house but I've also been trying to scratch some organizational projects off my list. Exhibit A: UTILITY ROOM
This place was soooo a mess! Shoes and grass all over the floor, towels thrown up on the shelves, and just random junk covering the dryer. Well not anymore! I tackled it one night after work (Ryan helped a little) :> and I'm quite pleased with the results.

Ah, so nice.
There's more to do but every little thing I check off my list feels like an accomplishment. Yesterday I went through our coat closet and now IT looks 10 x better!
I'm planning to use next weekend (4th of July) to do some painting and take advantage of a 3-day weekend. Woo hoo!
So that's a bit of what's been going on over here. Dodge is still his lazy cute self and lately we've gotten the biggest kick out of watching him try to "sneak up on" flies. It's hilarious! He gets so close and then they just buzz off ;)

How's your summer going?? Do you have any big organizational or home projects going on or are you choosing to kick back and relax? I'm telling Ryan we need to get this stuff done now rather than later. I don't want to be 8 months pregnant painting baseboards!

Cuuuuuuute belly!! Um, pimento cheese?! Why yes please! I think I've eaten a pimento cheese sandwich everyday for the past month, haha! ;) I am also ready to feel some baby movement!! :) I have a friend who is half a week behind me (she's 13 weeks) and she swears she's feeling a fluttering movement in her belly that's she's never felt before. Seems too early, but who knows... might just be gas! ;)
Look at you being all productive! The laundry room looks great! We're going to build a deck in our backyard next week. And I'm on a deadline to get my house in order before we have people in our house next week for Avery's FIRST birthday party! Can you believe she's already a year old??
Hi! I'm just stopping in for the first time and am so excited for you being along in your soon-to-be-motherhood! You look great and healthy
Katherine
I CAN'T believe that! That will be a fun party :> It's great how big events like that motivate us to clean and organize!
I know, I've read all about feeling fluttering and stuff but I don't think I have yet. Can't wait though! Glad you're enjoying the pimento cheese too :)
