I am psyched for this long 3 day weekend. I told Ryan tonight, "I feel like I'm on vacation!"
We started things off with dinner at Kyoto where I stuffed my belly full of deliciousness. Edamame and California roll (I've heard you're supposed to avoid sushi while pregnant but I've also heard certain rolls are fine and I personally go with "everything in moderation!" Even though I opted out on the hibachi dinner, I got some leftovers! Broth, fried rice, veggies, and a couple pieces of Ryan's chicken. He had to roll me out of the restaraunt.
We came home, Ryan watched Nascar, and I made some vegan banana cake. Just a recipe I found online and I'm about to taste test it :> We had 4 huge verry ripe bananas that were on their last leg.
My Weekend To-Do List: ( in no particular order)
1) Paint the small bathroom and possibly some baseboards
2) Work Out!
3) Clean out my nightstand "junk drawer"
4) Make homemade pimento cheese!!!
5) See Toy Story 3 with my sister Karoline
6) Work on my Ruth Bible Study!
7) Check out Baylor Hospital Online (classes, etc)
8) Write a thank-you note to Ryan's grandmother for several gifts she's given me
9) Maybe browse stores for maternity clothes?
10) Read, relax, do whatever I want :)
So I plan to be busy! And have fun. We're having a family 4th get together as well. What are your 4th of July/weekend plans?
