Oh man. I have so been ready for this weekend. Last weekend was crazy for us with Ryan working, me buying baby bibs (and dodging people I know and kept running into at Target! ;>) the Clinkingbeard wedding (ask me later), and telling BOTH sets of parents that they're going to be GRANDparents! After a busy week at work, I've been majorly looking forward to a nice quiet relaxing weekend at home.
Ryan brought us home lasagna from a new little Italian restaurant down the street that we like and it was superb. He's watching the Nascar race now and surprised me by saying, "After this race is over, we're going to Braums for ice cream." You won't hear me complaining! :--)
I read a chapter in my book tonight: "The Wednesday Sisters" and am determined to keep reading it/finish it. After that, I'll probably occupy myself with preggo books. Rachel was so kind as to give me a list of books she found helpful and tomorrow I plan on scouring the library for any of those titles. Good thing I like to read huh? I like reading on this site too though:

It's so cute! And you can read tons of questions asked by other moms-to-be and read everyone's answers. Good stuff.
I'm afraid I already have a bit of "pregnancy brain" setting in. I've felt so loopy/forgetful/tired at work this week. In fact, the day I found out I was pregnant, I was at work that morning and had just printed something from my desk. I walked over to the printer, pulled it off, walked into the middle of the room and said, "Who printed this?" Silence. Oh, uh, that's right. I did. :/ Today I was looking for a contact in our database and could not find him. I asked my c0-worker, is Ron still our contact? Um. You mean Roy? Oh riiight. ROY probably IS still in the system. Sheesh.
But it's all good. I don't care! I'm just so happy right now and so excited. I want to enjoy and soak up every minute. No, not every minute is or will be fun and glorious, but if a healthy baby is the end result, won't it all be worth it!? **Remind me of this in a few months when I start complaining about xyz symptom** :>
Hope everyone has a great weekend! Can you believe tomorrow is already May 1st!?

LOVE the bump :) Matt got so tired of my obsession with that website, but it was SO helpful! (Mostly just the message boards though) Enjoy your restful weekend!
If you haven't heard about it yet, you MUST read Babywise before you give birth. I say it's best to read closer to your due date because you will want the information fresh. But that was the only book I felt really helped for after pregnancy.
Thanks Tina! I think I did hear about that book on the O2 forums. I'll definitely have to get that one.
Braum's! We don't have those in KC (they're only found south of Wichita), so every time my friends and I road trip to OK to TX we make sure to go there :]
