Girls Weekend

I had been promising my sister Karoline for a while that she could come over and spend some time with Karlyn.  So this weekend was Girl's Weekend!  Ryan was gone to the races so it was the perfect opportunity.  We had big plans for a movie and some type of gooey chocolate dessert.  I must admit though that girls weekend is slightly harder to pull off with a baby. 

"Ok, lets start the movie...  Oh, pause it.  Gotta go change her."

"Ok, start it back up.  Karlyn, hush...you're fine." 

"Ok, ok, I'll go feed her.  Pause it."

We did finally get to finish it though.  I love this movie!



I don't buy movies; neither does Ryan.  But this is one I really want to get.  It's just so stinkin cute!  And I like Steve Carell. :>

Our dessert?  This.  Make it.  I wasn't 100% in love at first.  Now I kinda am.  And I kinda can't stop eating it.

There was a Sunday morning pre-church photo shoot.  There's always time for a photo shoot.











I love this outfit on her with the lacey skirt!  Karoline kept calling her vintage baby.  I hope my sister had a good time and wasn't too bored with the frequent baby breaks.  I know Karlyn is going to love spending time with her even more as she gets older.

Other News:

*I'm 11 days into "meatless in April."  It's really been no struggle at all and I'm enjoying it!

*My team finished our first week of Walk Across Texas and did a great job.  The 30 minutes of physical activity every day is really helping me sleep at night.

*Speaking of sleep, today is the first day in a long time that I don't feel like I need a nap, or to rest much.  Karlyn slept great last night and I did too!

*I'm really looking forward to this weekend.  Karlyn and I are hitting up 2 baby showers - back to back.  I know.  Be jealous.  Be very jealous. ;)
