Catching Up... And Pizza x 2
As I mentioned, last night Ryan and I headed to his 10 year high school reunion dinner at Primo's. Primo's is a Tex-Mex restaurant that we soon discovered was clearly the place to be on a Friday night. The place was hoppin! The tables for our party were set up outside on an upper back balcony area, and thank goodness they had some fans going...it was a little muggy. Thankfully I wore a knit dress that was pretty comfortable and I started sipping some ice water pretty soon after we got there. They had the area and food reserved for 40ish people but I don't think that many showed up. We had chicken and beef fajitas with sour cream, guac, and salsa + rice and beans. I think I ate a little too much and that combined with the heat and how much my water I was glugging down made me feel a little meh. It was also too funny. There were 3 other pregnant women there! I couldn't believe it. I definitely didn't feel out of place :> One of the girls, Tiffany, was really sweet and she is also due in December, 4 days before me. We got to sit and talk for quite a while which was fun. We compared pregnancy notes and what we had experienced so far. We exchanged blog addresses too... :-) Ryan had a good time catching up with his friends and he even did better than he though he would remembering names.
I thought after all that and staying out past my bedtime (ha) that I would fall into my bed for a solid night's sleep. But it wasn't to be. I don't know what happens. I will have several great nights of sleep and then all of sudden be up every 2 hours, tossing and turning, HOT, and just unable to sleep. That was last night. So we skipped the early service this morning and sat with Ryan's parents in the 9:30. I missed seeing my Sunday School peeps! But I'll see them this afternoon at a shower.
We made our usual stop for groceries after church and I spied this on the reduced bakery rack.
Pizza twice in one weekend? Sure. Why not.

I'm 26 weeks along today! 14 more to go! But I'm hoping she decides to make an appearance pre-Christmas ;)
Broncos vs. Seahawks today at 3:00! I'm hoping I make it home the catch the end :>
