Anyways, yeah. This morning I was just in a bit of a funk. Sometimes I don't feel like my life is going anywhere! If that makes sense...? I mean yes, I've been given an innumerable amount of blessings but some days I just feel "stuck." I want to move forward! Forward, I'm sure, means different things to different people. It's this period of waiting and trying to trust God for His timing that's hard.
**I have not been to the gym in probably 2-3 months!!** I've been working out at home though: yoga, 30 Day Shred, and now I have my new workout dvd's...I decided I needed to hit up the gym this morning to get out of the house and get some endorphins flowing! It worked! At least a little bit. I really love my gym; it's where I worked as a personal trainer for 6 months and was my first real job out of college. So I don't know why I haven't been going. It's hard after work though when I know I can drive straight home and still work up a sweat--in my living room.!-- But anyways I did:
10 minutes elliptical
lat pull-downs, squat + press, step-ups, tricep extension, chest flyes, shoulder raises, reverse lunges!
10 minutes treadmill (walking)
I did feel a little better when I left. I drove to my usual nail place but first grabbed a KIND bar and tall vanilla non-fat latte at Starbucks to enjoy during my pedicure :> I picked a bright pink polish to pep me up and remind me that Spring is coming!
I went ahead and got groceries while I was out (the nail place is right next to our neighborhood walmart!) so I could say that I did something productive today. Do you watch redbox movies?? I decided to get one. I got Tyler Perry's "I can do bad all by myself" which I plan on watching as soon as I post this :> I hope it's good!
Once I got home, I heated up leftovers from last night (I'll do a separate post!) along with some greens. My entree was g.r.e.a.s.y.

I've also been munching on the cookies my mom took Ryan for his birthday from Paradise Bakery. They are so good!
I thought it'd been a while since I took some pics of Dodge too, so we had a mini photo shoot in the kitchen after lunch. It was actually kinda funny...after I snapped several pictures, he kept avoiding me (probably going blind from the flash) and then he just trotted outside! I told Ryan he's a typical man: photo-phobic. :-)
So there's my Saturday. ;> I'm off to watch my movie!

I hear you on the waiting blahs. It's tough! All we can do is have faith for every area of our lives. You are a great example of that :) And cute pictures!
Awe...I love your doggie Dodge...so cute and adorable!Enjoy!
The blahs must be contagious! I have them too. Let's go to lunch one day tomorrow so we can talk about our mutual desire to get "unstuck" in our lives!
