Carbs, Protein, and Fat, right?
Ryan and I both brought home leftovers. I cleaned the kitchen and then finished breakfast with some Life cereal! Ah, that stuff is so good. I don't usually buy that kind but it gets mushy in milk which is what I've needed with my teeth situation.
I got to work after that c.l.e.a.n.i.n.g! Here's some pretty pictures of my clean house:
I paused for a yogurt + fruit snack!
yo-plus berry yogurt, 1/2 sliced banana, 1/2 T. ground flax
Around 1:00 I was ready for lunch. All that cleaning helped me work up an appetite! I started with soup. Did you know eating soup before a meal decreases the number of calories you're likely to eat afterwards? Uh, and plus soup is easy to eat when you can't chew :)
That doesn't look very full! And apparently tomato soup is liquid wisdom as well. :--)
I admired my pretty yellow flowers while I was cooking. Look how great they still look!
The rest of lunch was chicken nuggets + sweet potato fries!!! I was so happy to find these fries in the freezer. My chicken nuggets were the Morningstar brand. So yeah, not "real" chicken but I think they taste great! I'm definitely going to buy these again.
So it's been a good day! I need to go shower now and get ready for a Fields Family gathering we're having tonight at Logan's Roadhouse. I wanted to get a pedicure/manicure but I think I ran out of time. Maybe tomrorrow! I'll leave you with a pic of my lazy shorkie- what can he possibly do to get tired!? :--)
