Yesterday we had a long, busy day.  We picked up/cleaned the house, I worked out at the gym, and then showered and did some laundry.  After that, we headed out to a) pick up a b-day present, b) visit Ryan's grandmother in the hospital, and c) go see my brothers play football.  It was a long day!   Especially with no nap.  The football game was fun but HOT.  I was guzzling water and then a lemon ice thing.  I'm really not a fan of sweating, unless I'm working out...  But my brother Keith scored the first touchdown of the season for his team!  It was pretty cool.  We went to early church today like we always do which meant I did NOT get enough sleep last night.  I was sooo wanting to doze off during the sermon and in sunday school.  I somehow made it through though and we stopped for groceries on the way home.  I bought cinnamon cornflakes, which was clearly the highlight.  All I wanted to do was throw myself into the bed and sleep for hours once I got home.  I ate a quick bite and then proceeded to do just that.  Ugh.  Do you ever try to nap, and it just won't come?  I mean, I may have slept a little but it wasn't one of those solid 2-3 hour coma type experiences I was craving.  Sigh.  I got up, ate some salad and macaroni and cheese and read blogs.  And watched my stomach dance around a bit.  Love it!!!  It's just the coolest thing.  We have a b-day get together at 5:00 so I'm just relaxing now until then.

I know I still need to post about our baby registering, but last week at work was busy.  I spent Friday afternoon buying some maternity clothes!  I was so proud of myself:  I got 8 pieces for $100!  At Kohls: 1 pair of dark jeans, 1 teal-ish 3 quarter length top, 1 brown and burgandy adorable button up, tie in the back top.  All 3 of these were on sale plus I had a 15% off coupon to use.  At Kid-to-Kid: 1 pair of light grey slacks (Gap maternity) 1 pair of brown/patterned slacks (BRAND NEW FROM MIMI MATERNITY!), 1 pair of brown casual pants (Gap maternity), 1 black sweater, and 1 grey/green striped long-sleeved T.  Pretty good huh?!!

I know it's not cold or even cool yet but I wanted to invest in some fall things and some pants for work.  They've fixed our AC at work so slacks with a light sweater over a shirt will be perfectly comfortable.

Do you shop at re-sale shops?  It just thrills me with joy that I can get a brand new pair  of slacks for $18 if I take the time to look.

What are you *loving* right now? ;->

Happy Sunday~

Hi friend! Love the blog and I can't wait to read about registering!

I'm loving that it is actually feeling somewhat cooler when the sun goes down, football (I know you are excited about the Broncos) and I'm loving relaxing Sunday afternoons. :)
