Pappa's

Ryan and I finally got to use our "Pappa's" gift card tonight I had gotten for babysitting my bosses sweet daughter :)  I've had it for a while and we decided it'd be fun to use it for our anniversary dinner.

Pappadeaux and Pappasitos were both right next to each other...We walked into Pappadeaux and found out the wait for 2 was AN HOUR!  No thanks.

So we crossed the parking lot over to Pappasitos!  I'm glad we did.  a) I didn't have to stand in heels for an hour, waiting for a table and b) we were seated very quickly to eat!  I loved my meal!  My appetite has been weird though lately :/  I was wondering if it could have anything to do with my "meatless" challenge but I don't see how it could.  I just have felt really full lately.  Like not much of an appetite...or nothing will sound good.  But anyways, I ordered the Tilapia :)  It came with shrimp, crab I think?...in a really great sauce! + rice/beans.  I've had alot of rice and beans lately (hello Chipotle!) so I didn't eat much of those.  My fish was great though and I really loved the shrimp and scallops!  **I decided fish was a-ok during "Meatless in March."**  We ended our meal with a yummy dessert!  We never order dessert when we eat out but it was a special occasion and I felt like it ;>  We got an amazing Tres Leches Cake!  I'd never had tres leches before but it was interesting...verrry sweet, sitting in a milk bath, garnished with whipped cream, white chocolate sticks, mangoes and strawberry pieces!  I liked it and Ryan and I probably knocked out a little over half of it.  Yummers.

So we had a good time. 

We have a busy weekend ahead too.  Ryan's going to work for a little while and I'm going out with my friend Bethany.  We've been planning this day for a while...when I heard Amanda go on and on about how much she loves Sprinkles cupcakes!  We have lunch, a movie, and a trip to Sprinkles on the agenda :>  I'm debating:  Ghost Writer?  or Young Victoria?  I can't decide!

Tomorrow night Ryan and I are headed to see my family -who I haven't seen in ages!- and celebrate mine and Keith's birthday.  We're almost exactly 10 years apart.

Then Sunday, we're taking Ryan's mom Sharon out to lunch for her birthday.  So many b-days!  Gotta love March!  Oh.  And the time change is Sunday.  Boo!  I am not excited about that.  Except, we get more light!! 

I realllly want to work on my page tabs, at the top of my blog!  I'm thinking Sunday afternoon (after a nap) will be a perfect time for that.
